Honey and Aloe vera Cleanser:
You only need honey and aloe vera that is normally available at home. All you need to do is add honey and aloe vera and mix up well until it is completely blended. Apply this mixture to your face and do the massage in a circular motion. Keep on massaging your face gently for 10-15 minutes then rinse your face with luke water and dry with a clean towel. Honey has antibacterial properties and is a natural humectant whereas aloe vera soothes your skin and helps it to get hydrated.
Sugar and Olive Oil Scrub
For this, you need to take ½ cup of granulated sugar or brown sugar and ¼ cup of coconut oil or olive oil. In the next step, combine the sugar and the oil in a bowl and mix well. It will become like a paste. Apply this scrub to your face or body and gently massage it in a circular motion for a few minutes. After massaging, rinse it off with warm water and pat dry. Sugar has the ability to exfoliate dead skin cells where as Olive oil moisturizes and nourishes the skin.
Avocado and Yogurt Mask
This routine is included in a hydrating face mask. You only need to get one tablespoon of honey, 2 tablespoons of plain yogurt, and ½ ripe avocado. To make a mask, you’ll mash the avocado in a bowl until it becomes smooth. After that, add honey and yogurt and mix them well. Apply this mask to your face and then leave it on your face for 15-20 minutes. After this, rinse your face with lukewarm water and pat dry it. All the ingredients are beneficial as avocado is rich in healthy fats and vitamins, Yogurt contains lactic acid which gently exfoliates and brightens the skin and Honey moisturizes and has antibacterial properties.
Green Tea and Witch Hazel Toner
It is considered as the best toning solution. Ingredients include ½ cup of brewed green tea and ½ cup of witch hazel. Also, consider adding a few drops of essential oil such as lavender and tea tree. Adding this oil is optional. Brew a cup of green tea and let it cool completely. Mix the cooled green tea and witch hazel in a bottle. Add a few drops of essential oil if desired. Apply the toner to your face using a cotton pad after cleansing. Green tea is rich in antioxidants and has anti-inflammatory properties. Witch hazel helps to tighten pores and soothe the skin.
Shea Butter and Coconut Oil Cream
It is a moisturizing cream that will help your skin to be softened and soothing. Ingredients include ½ cup shea butter, ¼ cup coconut oil, and 10-15 drops of essential oil (optional, such as lavender or chamomile). To make this cream, melt the shea butter and coconut oil together in a double boiler. Once melted, remove it from the heat and let it cool slightly. In the next step, add the essential oil and mix well. Now, pour the mixture into a container and let it solidify. Use as a moisturizer for your face and body. Shea butter is deeply moisturizing and helps to heal the skin. Coconut oil is nourishing and has antibacterial properties.
